DANIEL ZALKUS ILLUSTRATION
"Charcoal & Whisky" is a book containing a series of drawings that document the whisky-making process and was made during my time as a Glenfiddich Artist in Residence. They were all done on the spot. I was there with the workers as they repaired the casks, bottled the spirits, and gave tours of the distillery.

As I get closer to the print date (estimated to be July 22nd) I'll blog various thoughts about the book, with samples, so be sure to check in for updates.
"Charcoal & Whisky" is 9x12, full color, 48 pages and a limited edition of 500.
